The SLDZ 1200 incorporates the classic SL1200 series Direct-Drive platter into a digital turntable. This innovation allows DJs to make a perfectly smooth transition from vinyl to CD, giving the same look and feel and using all the familiar mixing techniques.

Along with its realistic vinyl feel the Technics SLDZ 1200 adds forward and reverse options with on-board cueing, sampling and onboard Vinyl Simulation filters and effects. Effects include: One Way - only scratches when the platter is moved forward, Distortion and Wah- controlled by platter movement. The unit also has MP3 playback, SD card memory for playback, samples, loops and cue points.
