The Sony MDV-R500’s are a great low cost alternative to the MDV-R700's. Offering many of the same DJ friendly features, such as swivel and reversible ear-cups for added flexibility. They also have the same folding design which makes for easy storage and easy portability. The light weight and wide headband ensures good comfort in extended use. A maximum sound pressure level of 105db gives good headroom and the 40mm drives provide a clean clear overall sound.
