The closed-back HD 25’s are designed for professional monitoring, offering high attenuation of background noise. They are capable of handling very high sound pressure levels of 120db and offer robust construction of high-quality plastic composite throughout. The supra-aural ear pads are a supple leather-type material; the ear-cup piece also swivels out of the way so you can hear outside sounds or perform DJ mixing with one ear. A unique feature of these headphones is the split headband that allows the band to surround the head; this is extremely effective at stabilising the headphones and is quite comfortable even if used for long periods.

Along with all these features the HD-25's offer tight & well-defined clean bass, very even-sounding punchy mids and fairly smooth and well-extended highs.

They also feature user replaceable leads and ear pads and a tough, detachable steel cable.
